The Center of Excellence in Ageing focuses on enhancing and sharing knowledge about the well-being and health of elderly individuals. It actively participates in discussions about healthcare policies and social services to develop compassionate solutions for challenges faced by the aging population.
The Center of Excellence in Ageing addresses the needs of the metropolitan area by enhancing expertise in areas such as research, training, and community programs related to aging. Our aim is to develop knowledge that promotes the well-being, health, and inclusion of older people.
The Center of Excellence engages in discussions on topics like healthcare and social inclusion and works to influence policymaking through advocacy and partnerships with policymakers. Collaborating with experts, older people, their networks is central to building this partnership.
We aim to create and implement solutions, such as community programs and healthcare services, that support the health, well-being, and quality of life of older people. The Center of Excellence also fosters the development of aging-related skills through interdisciplinary courses and collaborative research projects across academic and educational boundaries.
