Business Informatics path studies

The studies are scheduled for the autumn 2024 semester. Studies will start with the Orientation day on Thursday the 29th of August at 9:00. The path studies consist of 15 credits. Registration takes place in the Open UAS registration system.

Path studies are an alternative route to becoming a degree student. You will study the first-year studies together with the degree program group. Please note that completing the path studies does not automatically guarantee admission as a degree student in a separate application process.

Content

Path studies consist of 15cr of Business Informatics studies. After completion of these 15 credits with good grades you are welcome to apply to become a degree student through a separate application process.

Requirements

This Open study path requires an appropriate Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering). This is checked of all students. Work experience is not required in Open study paths. If you later apply to degree studies on the Basis of Open UAS Studies, two years' work experience will be required after completing your Bachelor's degree.

Enrollment

Enroll for the Business Informatics path studies in Metropolia Open UAS enrollment system.

Enrollment is done by clicking "Add to basket". You can enroll or accept a place from only one path. Enrollment is open from June 3rd at 10:00 to August 6th 2024 at 23:59. All eligible applicants will be invited to an interview on 12th or 13th of August between 10-15. Interviews are conducted over Zoom, 30 min per applicant.
