Target Audience
These two study modules (5 ECTS + 5 ECTS) are aimed at students and professionals who are interested in strengthening professional competencies needed when promoting health, well-being, inclusion, and a sense of community in society through creativity and arts.
Creativity, Health and Wellbeing 1, 5 ECTS
Objectives
The students will be able to:
• reflect on and justify, based on research, the meaningfulness of creative activities and arts experiences to the well-being of individuals and communities.
• identify approaches of different disciplines in relation to creativity, culture and arts, and to analyse the elements of professional competencies thereof.
• apply versatile knowledge when observing, planning and utilizing creative activities in social and health fields
• foster sensitivity and compassion as part of their own professional interaction, and deal with emotions evoked in creative and artistic activities, both individually and in a group.
Content
Studies consist of lectures, workshops, group work, independent work.

• utilize their competencies and skills, to identify their strengths and to develop them in connection with creative and artistic activities.
• apply creative approaches, based on research, in their professional practice in order to strengthen well-being, inclusion and agency in social and health fields, and to analyse the meanings of these activities to participants.
• identify and analyse the participants’ needs in different situations and contexts related to creative activities.
• guide their own professional learning in community-led, multidisciplinary projects in a group of learners.
