However, in case you are an international degree student at Metropolia UAS, you can book a career guidance appointment intended for degree students in our booking system from August 2024 onwards, or contact the staff of your degree programme for more information about the guidance available to you.

Career guidance can be useful, when:
- planning a career shift into new tasks or another professional field
- wondering which skills employers are currently looking for
- interested in learning more about identifying and marketing your skills
- looking for opportunities for studying and developing your skills at the Open University of Applied Sciences
Prepare for the discussion in advance

- What have you studied before and what are your skills and competences?
- Are you interested in supplementing your previous studies for example by taking courses at the open university?
- Do you plan to start studies in higher education for the first time, or do you wish to enter in a totally new field of study?
