The project ended on May 1, 2010.
First version was designed and built by Metropolia in the Tekes (the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation) funded projects during 2002-2005 (Pirjola et al., 2004, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2012).
As a moving tool, it provides a unique platform to study high spatial and temporal characteristics of emissions from traffic, wood burning, ships etc. Also useful for vehicle chase measurements to study effects of emission reduction technologies. Enables measurements of re-suspended road dust behind both rear tyres.
