The operations of EduExcellence Ltd. are ending − education exports continue

The operations of EduExcellence Ltd., the joint education export company of Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia (3AMK), are ending. The decision to liquidate EduExcellence Ltd. and wind up the company is due to the development of Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia's own education export activities. Additionally, there has been a shift in emphasis from subscription education to continuing education and tuition-fee paying degree students.

The decision to liquidate EduExcellence Ltd. was made at the company's general meeting on 31 March 2025.

"We thank the company and its employees for their significant work in developing the educational export of 3AMK universities to its current scale," says Simo Mustila, Chairman of the Board of EduExcellence Ltd.

During the liquidation period, the company's operations will be wound down. The company is in a good financial position and is expected to meet all its payment obligations. The liquidation will not directly affect the training courses and the students who participate in them. EduExcellence's contracts will be transferred to the shareholder of the company whose training courses are covered by the contract in question. If necessary, a replacement contract will be carried out with that shareholder. Each customer will be contacted separately about the transfer of contracts.

Pauli Sortti, a lawyer from Roihu Attorneys Ltd, has been appointed as the liquidator.

Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia will continue cooperation in promoting joint educational export projects.
