Peili app shortlisted in two Finnish design competitions for Best Mobile Service
Peili is being recognised by two of the most respected design competitions in Finland: Grand One for Best Mobile Service and Vuoden Huiput for Best Service.
There are plenty of actors and organisations to provide help, but those services are scattered and hard to find. The target group is not always even aware that such support exists. We need to do a better job of connecting the two. Peili has been designed to connect these two dots.
According to OECD reports, 21% of Finnish men of age 16-29 years are in the danger of exclusion by NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) definition. This means roughly 100 000 men on a national level.
Peili.io is a service aiming to help young men in danger of marginalization. The solution is an application that helps young men to recognise their own strengths and guides them to the right services using AI. Peili has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from all service providers involved in combat of youth exclusion.
Peili is created by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, funded by EU and co-created with the young. Produced by Adventure Club.
