Marina Okhrimenko: Blending Intensive Programme was a unique opportunity for international exchange

Published on

""Marina Okhrimenko is studying for a master's degree in Procurement. She participated in a short exchange program which included a study tour to Paris. Marina tells about her experiences:

"The Blending Intensive Programme (BIP) in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Leadership was a unique opportunity for international exchange during my studies at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The program brought together students and faculty from Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and France and included online lectures and a week-long study tour to the IAE Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) campus in France.

We broadened our knowledge of social responsibility and building sustainability through workshops, including one organized by a local bread producer; we explored the challenges facing the industry and businesses in general and the role of reducing carbon footprint in achieving sustainable development goals.

The program also provided a fantastic chance to experience international collaboration. I connected with fellow students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The friendly and positive atmosphere made the experience both intellectually and personally enriching.

I highly recommend such exchange programs for their combination of practical knowledge, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to build valuable personal and professional connections that go beyond the classroom."
