Creativity and technology are at the heart of shaping the future and creating it. Future/s Possible is an event that offers perspectives on the future possibilities and potential futures ahead: talks about the future that could be.
By combining creativity, curiosity for new technologies, an entrepreneurial mindset, and an interest in emerging talents, the event aims to inspire and offer hope for solving today’s challenges with a forward-thinking approach.
The talks will present four perspectives on the future of media, explore future consumers, delve into emerging technologies in the digital creative industries, and provide inspiration through radical creativity and change-driven thinking.
We believe that with courage, curiosity, and creativity, we are moving toward new ways of working, creating, and driving motivation and change.
Please note that the event has keynotes both in Finnish and English.

In addition to Neogames, KooPee is a founding member and a member of the board in EGDF (European Games Developer Federation) and NGI (Nordic Game Institute), and runs the activities of the Finnish Game Developers’ Association. His academic background is in literature, though he has successfully avoided an actual degree for nearly thirty years now.

In these times of cascading crises, the logic of the world as we know it is crumbling, and yet a new logic has yet to emerge. The educator Zachary Stein calls this a “time between worlds.” Cassie will share how in her work she is responding to these times and resourcing others who are doing the work of prefiguring the futures of which we dream. Alongside sharing the kinds of practices, and inner and outer conditions that make this work possible.
***
About Cassie:
The focus of Cassie’s work nowadays is on practices for systemic transitions, in a time between worlds, and the inner and outer conditions needed for this work. Her practice grounds are philanthropic institutions, wealth holder communities and the Wealth Defence Industry, and within initiatives that are paying attention to what’s being birthed and what is dying at the same time. Most recently she was the Associate Director of Emerging Futures at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Co-Lead in field building at Partners for a New Economy. She is currently working at Arising Quo, an initiative that she helped establish two years ago, that works across Europe.
