ITSHEC: Integration of transversal skills into healthcare and social care higher education and curriculum

Transversal skills not specifically related to a particular job, task, academic discipline or area of knowledge, but they are increasingly in high demand for learners to successfully adapt to changes.

Objectives and Scope

Project aims to support students of social care and healthcare in higher education to adapt to the rapidly changing working life, by promoting the integration of transversal skills and developing necessary innovative teaching tools and methods.

Transversal skills are categorised under personal, thinking, emotional, collaborative and interaction skills. These wide-ranging skills are essential for lifelong learning and continuous development of professional competencies, as well as supporting to create more sustainable working life.
