To do before the orientation days
- Arrive to Finland at least a couple of days before the orientation to leave time for settling in.
You can pick up your study envelope containing study related documents (incl. public transport discount document) from the info desk of Arabia campus from 4 January onwards. You can also visit the HSL Service point (Helsinki region public transportation) to buy your student discounted travel card before the orientation days.
If you arrive in Finland just before the orientation days, you can also receive your study envelope during the orientation days and visit the HSL Service point on Monday after the orientation programme

Orientation days on 8 -9 January 2024
Your exchange period starts with an orientation where you will get all the information regarding your studies and practical issues as well as daily life in Finland. Most of all, you will get to meet other exchange students! Attending the orientation is compulsory.
The orientation days will be held on on Arabia Campus (address: Hämeentie 135D, Helsinki).

Campus Location
All degree programmes in the field of Culture and Creative industries are taught on the Arabia campus in Helsinki.
The Arabia campus consists of the main building Arabia135D (address Hämeentie 135D, Helsinki) and Soiva building for Music Education (address Muotoilijankatu 1D, Helsinki. The two buildings are connected and you can move from one building to the another very easily.
You can find information, for example how the campus looks like and how to reach the campus, on the Arabia campus website.
Course schedules and enrollments
You will find out your schedules for the semester and receive more information about the studies during the orientation week. Course enrollments will also be made then.
