Systemic Leadership Training Programme is targeted for leaders and specialists who wish to strengthen their competence in system intelligence. You will learn how to lead in a complex world and what kind of mindset you need to thrive as a future leader. You will also learn how to read and understand systems and recognize different dynamics in organizations. You learn will understand how to use or organizational constellations as a tool in order to make better decisions.

The programme includes new ways and tools to understand e.g. strategic choices, change management, organizational culture etc. and combines leadership and management theories, systemic tools and a new mindset needed in VUCA environment. 

Systemic Leadership Training Programme will be most likely offered next time in 2022. The schedule, price and registration instructions as well as other implementation details will be published when confirmed.

Systemic leadership training programme

Contents

The programme is based on three different modules each 5 credits, altogether 15 credits. Each module consists of 3 seminar days and workshops, practicing systemic tools, reading and assignments.

In each module you will learn both new theories and approaches to lead in a complex world and also how to use systemic tools in your work.

The lecturers of the programme are system work specialists in Europe. The language of the training is both Finnish and English or fully English.

Lecturers

The lecturers of the programme are system work specialists from the European network.

Helena Kuusisto-Ek is a principal lecturer of strategic management at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. She has brought systemic leadership approach to the curricula of Masters programs including organizational constellations as a tool to understand complexity. In addition to this, she has trained leaders to understand organizational dynamics in different contexts. Currently she is responsible e.g. for a program called Systemic Leadership and Organizational Culture in Schools. Helena’s mission is to bring systemic approach (theory) and organizational constellations (tool) to higher education context and also embed this approach to RDI projects in the future.

 

Barbara Malmström M.A. (Educ.) has over two decades of experience in management consultancy at an international level. In Finland she is a forerunner in the systemic approach to management development. Barbara has been studying the systemic approach at the Bert Hellinger Institute in Groningen (Netherlands) and completed a master training there in 2016. The same year she was certified as a Professional Facilitator by Infosyon (International Forum for System Constellations in Organisations, Germany). Barbara is also recognised in the field of leadership development. Currently she is e.g. a systemic leadership trainer in EMBA program in Turku School of Economics (Turku University) and has an active role in Metropolia’s systemic leadership training programs. She has been coaching global executives and organisations across the board. This includes working with groups, management teams or individuals (as a coach). Georg Müller-Christ is a professor for sustainable management at the University of Bremen. His favorite topic in research and teaching are system constellations as a tool of dealing with complexity. He has created an exploration constellations as a new method. He offers a training programme for facilitators for system constellation. He has also published a book in 2018 Komplexe Systeme Lesen. Cancellation terms

We require a written cancellation notification four weeks before the scheduled start of the course. We charge full price for cancellations that are made later than two weeks before the start. In case a participant is unable to attend the course, another participant can take their place.

If the course, an individual day of the course, or a part of the course has to be cancelled on Metropolia's side, the participant is offered the opportunity to attend a similar implementation at another time, or Metropolia will refund the fees related to the aforementioned course/day of the course/part of the course. Metropolia is not liable for other fees that may fall upon the participant in case of cancellation.
